Dearest Mother Dear,

How can I fully express the love I feel for my dear, sweet mother!  There really aren't words to express but I will do my best!  I am so thankful to have been born to such a faithful, kind, loving, talented mother who loves the Lord with all her heart and wants to do what is right!  I am so thankful for your amazing example!  I love that you raised all of us with wonderful uplifting music in our home!  You taught the Gospel to me through word and deed and song!  I love how supportive you were of all the interests I pursued.  I'm thankful you allowed and encouraged me to take piano lessons which has blessed my life!  I'm thankful you made sure we always had devotional and family prayer and family home evening.  I'm thankful for your example of faithful church and temple attendance.  I remember you and dad coming home from the temple in Mesa and the special spirit you both brought back with you!  I'm thankful for your and Dad's support with all our babies blessings, baptisms, etc.  Thank you for all the help you have given (as you have been able) when I have brought children into the world!  Thank you for loving our children and being such a kind and loving grandma to them!

I have fond memories of Thursday Night at the Park and performing and getting ready for that!  That was so fun clogging, acting our ticki-tacki-timbu.  I love watching you perform "The White Socks"!  I love your love for drama and acting!  I am thankful for your encouraging and helping us develop healthy eating habits.  I love your cheerfulness!  

As I go from day to day in raising my kids, I am amazed at the patience you had with all of us!  I am amazed how kind and long-suffering you were and still are.  I wish and hope I can be as good of a mother as you are!  I have so much further to go!  I want to be more Christlike and I'm so thankful I have such a great example to look up to!

Thank you for your faithfulness though your health challenges!  You always are asking about me and thinking about others besides yourself!  Thank you for enduring faithfully this trial in your life!  I know the Lord loves you and I know Christ has suffered the pains, sorrows, and heartache you have experienced and continue to go through.  He will bless you for your faithfulness in enduring to the end!

May you have a wonderful birthday as we thank our Heavenly Father that He has blessed us with you in our lives!
